OSU Women up for Pontiac Game-Changing Performance of the Year

CORVALLIS - Pontiac has recognized the Oregon State women’s basketball team’s dramatic comeback victory over the Washington State Cougars Feb. 24th as one of its six “game-changing performances” in the Pac-10 Conference this season.

OSU has already received a $1,000 check from Pontiac to be used for its general scholarship fund, now it can earn another $10,000 for the scholarship fund for the conference’s “performance of the year.”

The game featured senior Casey Nash scoring a career-high 28 points in her final regular season game for the Beavers as they rallied from a 17-point second half deficit to win in Pullman.

Voting ends March 5th.

The women’s basketball team will return to action Friday at 8:15 PM in the first round of the Pac-10 Tournament at the HP Pavilion in San Jose against the Arizona Wildcats.
