No. 9 OSU Hosts Cal State Fullerton in Home Finale

CORVALLIS - Oregon State’s ninth-ranked gymnastics team makes its final home appearance of 2007 at Gill Coliseum Friday night when the Beavers host Cal State Fullerton.

The dual competition begins at 7:00 PM and will be conducted in traditional fashion with the competitors for the Beavers and Titans alternating.

The Beavers hosted the annual Salbasgeon Suites Invitational last weekend coming up just short in a comeback bid against No. 7 Utah.

Sophomore Jami Lanz won a tightly contested all-around title over teammate Tasha Smith and Utah’s 10-time All-American Ashley Postell.

OSU has broken the 196-point barrier four of the past five weeks and seeks to continue to improve its RQS.

The latest GymInfo rankings have three of OSU’s lineups ranked among the Top 10, including the beam team which ranks eighth nationally while the bars team is ninth and floor is 10th. The vault lineup is ranked 12th.
