Oregon State's Ashley Allen Earns Pac-10 Academic Accolades

A starter in all 28 games for the Beavers, Allen ranked second on the team in assists with 66.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Oregon State University junior guard Ashley Allen earned honorable mention Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic honors, as was announced by Commissioner Tom Hansen on Friday.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

Allen, a 5-10 guard from Fresno, CA, is a Health Promotion and Health Behavior major.

A starter in all 28 games for the Beavers, Allen ranked second on the team in assists with 66 and was fourth on the squad in scoring with an average of 7.6 points per game.
