EUGENE - By: The Associated Press Courtesy: goducks.com Bryce Taylor scored 22 and Aaron Brooks added 18 to lead No. 17 Oregon to a 70-49 victory against Oregon State on Saturday. The Ducks (23-7, 11-7 Pac-10) won their final three games of the regular season and have won 14 straight against the Beavers (11-20, 3-15) at McArthur Court. Oregon will go into next week's Pac-10 tournament as the fourth seed and will play Arizona. The Ducks' win, coupled with USC's double-overtime loss at Washington State means that Oregon finished tied for third in the Pac-10. It's just the fourth time since the league expanded to 10 teams in 1978-79 that the Ducks have finished third or better. The other times were first in 2002 and third in 1984 and 2000. Maarty Leunen also had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Oregon. Brooks, the Pac-10's leading scorer, made his final claim for conference player of the year. He went 4-for-6 from the 3-point line and 6-for-13 from the field overall. Tajuan Porter, Oregon's third-leading scorer this season and top 3-point shooter, was held scoreless until he converted a fast-break layup with 7:39 to go. His only 3-pointer gave the Ducks a 64-44 lead with 4:23 to play and tied former UCLA Bruin Jason Kapono's conference freshman record for 3-pointers in a season with 82. He missed on his final five attempts to break the record and finished with seven points. He made 1-of-9 3-point attempts and 2-of-12 from the field overall. Marcel Jones had 13 points for Oregon State, which made only eight shots in the first half and trailed 33-17 at the break. Jones dunked to cut Oregon's lead to 26-17 with 6:34 left in the first half but Oregon went into the break on a 7-0 run.
