PORTLAND - Seven former Portland State Vikings are on opening week rosters of the Arena Football League, as the 19-team league prepares to open its 2007 season this weekend.

He appeared in two games for the Colorado Crush last season, making three tackles.

Narcisse was a first team All-Big Sky performer in 2004 and earned honorable mention all-conference honors in 2005. He is expected to be New Orleans’ opening day starter at center.

Bryant is a five-year AFL veteran, after playing the 2001 season in the Canadian Football League with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

He had 90 receptions and scored 11 touchdowns last year in his first season with Utah, after spending four seasons from 2002-2005 with the Arizona Rattlers.

He played at Portland State from 2001-2004, earning second team All-Big Sky honors in 2002 and honorable mention accolades in 2004.

Floyd is entering his sixth Arena season and his fourth with Colorado.

He is a two-time All-Arena Team selection, earning second team honors in 2004 and 2006.

He set AFL season records for tackles with 123.0 in 2004 and 136.5 in 2006. Floyd also set an AFL single-game record with 17.5 tackles for Colorado in a 2005 game versus Los Angeles.

Frantz is starting his fourth season, his second with the Rush.

Last year in his first season with Chicago, he converted 53-of-58 extra points and was 9-of-17 on field goals to record 80 points.

Wood is beginning his first season with the Soul and his second in the league.

He played last season for the New York Dragons, completing 40-of-58 passes for 358 yards with five TDs and four interceptions.

Prior to playing last season with New York, Wood spent two seasons in the AF2.
