SALT LAKE CITY - Deron Williams' pull-up jumper with 2.3 seconds left forced overtime and he finished with 17 points and 14 assists in Utah's 127-117 Game 2 victory over the visiting Warriors on Wednesday.

Williams got off to a rough start, picking up two personal fouls in the opening minute, but used a strong fourth quarter (six points, five assists) to again get the better of Golden State point guard Baron Davis (36 points on 13-for-22 shooting, seven assists).

The early foul trouble was part of an interesting night for Jazz lead guards.

Rookie Dee Brown suffered a neck injury later in the first quarter, and veteran Derek Fisher arrived at the arena during the third period after flying in from New York, where his daughter had surgery earlier in the day.

Fisher hit a huge 3-pointer to help Utah pull away in the extra session.

Carlos Boozer led the way for the Jazz with 30 points and 13 rebounds, Mehmet Okur added 23 points and 18 rebounds, and Andrei Kirilenko tallied 20 points, nine rebounds, five assists and six blocks before fouling out during overtime. Six players scored 10-plus points for the Jazz.

Davis hit four 3-pointers and Jason Richardson sank five treys on his way to 27 points. Golden State finished 15-for-40 from beyond the arc.

Those 40 attempts rank second in playoff history - Dallas attempted 42 against Sacramento in 2003.

The Jazz will look for a 3-0 series lead on Friday night at 9:00 PM ET on ESPN.
