CHICAGO - Chauncey Billups and the Pistons proved to be more than the Bulls could handle on Thursday.

Despite leading by 19 early in the third quarter, Chicago fell victim to Billups' 17 second-half points in Detroit's 81-74 Game 3 victory on Thursday, giving the Pistons a 3-0 series lead.

Detroit used a 12-0 run in third quarter to close within five and then a series of big shots by Rasheed Wallace gave them the lead early in the fourth.

Tayshaun Prince tallied 23 points and 11 rebounds and Billups finished with 21 points and seven assists. Wallace registered 16 points, 11 boards and five blocks.

Luol Deng notched 21 points and 14 rebounds and Kirk Hinrich added 13 points and 11 assists for the Bulls.

Chicago hosts the Pistons once again for Game 4 on Sunday at 3:30 PM ET on ABC as the Bulls look to avoid a series sweep.
