May-12-2007 08:47NBA Playoffs: Warriors Roll Over Jazz, 125-105Salem-News.com SPORTSBaron Davis led the way with 32 points, nine assists and six steals for the Warriors.
OAKLAND, Calif. - The Warriors shook off their disappointing finish to Game 2 and bounced back with a 125-105 Game 3 win at home on Friday night. Utah now leads the conference semifinal series two games to one. Golden State wasted no time in making Wednesday's loss a distant memory, tying an NBA playoff record with 11 first-half 3-pointers. In front of a frenzied Oakland crowd, the Warriors took the lead for good three minutes into the contest and saw the bulge grow to as large as 30 points. Baron Davis led the way with 32 points, nine assists and six steals, and Jason Richardson hit five of Golden State's 15 3-pointers as part of his 25 points. Al Harrington (15 points), Mickael Pietrus (14 points), Andris Biedrins (13 points) and Monta Ellis (10 points) also reached double figures, and all eight Warriors regulars scored at least eight points. Five players scored 10-plus points for the Jazz, led by Carlos Boozer, who continued his strong postseason play with 19 points on 8-for-10 shooting and 11 rebounds. Andrei Kirilenko added 15 points, five rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots. The Warriors will look to tie the series at two games apiece on Sunday at 9:00 PM ET on TNT.
