Salmonberry Campground Near Alsea, Oregon Opens Tuesday

All sites are first come, first serve, no reservations, and there are no RV hook-ups.

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Benton County Natural Areas and Parks Department’s Salmonberry County Campground opens Tuesday for the 2007 camping season and closes October 15th.

Salmonberry Campground is located 6.4 miles west of Alsea, Oregon, off Highway 34, on the Alsea River.

Site amenities include campsite host, seven dispersed tent sites, 13 RV/trailer gravel spur sites, grey water disposal, handicap accessible restrooms and coin-operated showers (25 cents per minute); day use area with boat ramp and river trail accessibility.

All sites are first come, first serve, no reservations, and there are no RV hook-ups.

Campsite fees are $15 for each site per night; additional vehicles are $5 for each vehicle each night (no charge for vehicles in tow).

A Senior Discount of $1 off each nightly fee is available for age 55+ (per day, per campsite).
