SAN ANTONIO – AP - Manu Ginobili had a key steal and followed with a key offensive rebound in the final minute as the Spurs held off the Mavericks 98-97 in Game 5 to stay alive in the Western Conference semifinals Wednesday night

Tim Duncan scored a season-high 36 points and added 12 rebounds and three blocks. Tony Parker added 27 points for San Antonio.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 31 points for the Mavericks.

Game 6 will be played in Dallas on Friday night
