Regis, Newport Advance to State Baseball Championship Games

All of the state championship baseball games will be played at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer on June 2.

SALEM, Ore. - The Regis Rams have advanced to the state 3A baseball title game with a 9-4 win over Clatskanie.

The Rams will face Burns who blew away Glide, 13-1.

In 6A, North Medford defeated Tualatin, 8-5.

The Black Tornado will face Westview for the 6A crown, after the Wildcats nipped West Linn, 8-7.

In 4A, Newport had no problem reaching the championship game with a 18-6 win over Henley.

The Cubs will face La Grande who got by Astoria, 4-3.
