KEIZER - The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes are seeking a corporate partner interested in ballpark naming rights and turning Volcanoes Stadium into an interactive corporate experience.

"Until now, Minor League Naming Rights were tied to fan exposure and hospitality options," said Volcanoes owner Jerry Walker. "But now 'living' a brand has become very important for both companies and fans. We believe we're the first to do this."

As part of the partnership, the Volcanoes are considering an interactive section of the ballpark where more than 115,000 fans will "live" the partner's brand. Volcanoes Stadium will be renamed after the corporate partner. The club is also including extras like box suites, tickets, promotional tie-ins and media exposure.

The Volcanoes asked San Diego-based creative ideas company, Plan B. Branding, to find a corporate partner and dream up potential interactive experiences.

"If you're a medical center, it's building a place where fans learn about the latest medical technology - or what happens behind the scenes at the medical center. If you're a bank, it's an exclusive branch next to the ballpark and Keizer Station," said Plan B. Branding Partner Jason Klein.

The ballpark and interactive corporate experience will be the cornerstone of the new 225-acre Keizer Station shopping district still under construction. More than 50 million cars pass by the landmark stadium each year.
