AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Pistons had five players reach double figures in scoring and trailed for only 17 seconds on their way to a dominant 95-69 Game 1 win over the visiting Bulls on Saturday.

Chauncey Billups scored 12 of his 20 points in the first quarter to help Detroit race to the early lead and never look back.

Richard Hamilton added 20 points and five assists, while Tayshaun Prince netted 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Chicago, which shot only 33 percent from the floor and recorded a franchise playoff low for points scored, was led by Luol Deng and his 18 points and eight boards.

The Bulls will try to regroup and even the series in Game 2 on TNT on Monday night. Tipoff is TBD.
