Sunday's Oregon State Softball Game Against Top-Ranked UCLA Canceled Due to Inclement Weather

CORVALLIS - No. 5 ranked Oregon State`s regular season home finale softball game against top-ranked UCLA was canceled on Sunday due to inclement weather. The game will not be made up.

In ceremony conducted in the Merritt Truax Indoor Center, close to 50 fans helped honor UCLA`s four graduating seniors as well as the Oregon State Class of 2006 – Lisa Allen, Adrienne Alo, Maggie DeWall, Vanessa Iapala, Amy Klever and Ingrid Lochelt.

One of the most decorated classes in Oregon State softball history, the six Beaver seniors helped OSU earn a share of the sport`s first Pac-10 title, win a school record 28 consecutive games, and earn a program-best #5 national ranking.

Oregon State finishes the regular season with four games in Arizona. The Beavers start things off with a 4:30 PM double-header against No. 10 Arizona State on Thursday.
