SALEM - Corban Senior Becky Horn was awarded her second straight Cascade Collegiate Conference Libero of the Year award, while senior Hallie Hofferd received honorable mention on the all-conference team when the list was released by the conference office on Sunday.

This is the second straight season that Horn has been named the conference Libero of the Year and fourth straight that a member of the women's volleyball program has brought the honor back to the Capitol city.

Horn posted a season-best 49 digs versus Lewis-Clark State on August 26th and registered 30-or-more digs eleven times.

Last season, Horn donned the Warrior uniform for the first time and recorded 499 digs, while setting the old school mark for digs per game with an average of 6.24.

In her two-year career at Corban, Horn registered 1,145 digs to place 3rd on the all-time career chart.

Her career average of 6.58 digs per game puts her nearly three digs per game ahead of former Warrior Jamie Ruda (2001-04) on the all-time list.

As well as receiving the honor of conference Libero of the Year, Horn was also placed as the lone libero on the all-conference team. T

he second-year transfer from Clackamas Community College becomes the seventh Warrior to be named as a 1st team all-conference selection joining former Warriors Jen Herndon (1997), Chris Neely (1998, 1999, & 2000), Paige Stewart (1998 & 1999), Liz Howe (2001, 2002, & 2003), Kendra Mitchell (2002, 2003, & 2004), and Kim Turin (2004).

Hofferd completed her four-year career as a Warrior with a banner year thanks to 269 kills, 12 assists, 31 service aces, 271 digs, and 58 blocks (10 solo, 48 assist). The 5-foot-8 outside hitter averaged a team-best 3.09 kills per game, while registering a team-high .181 hitting percentage. T

his is the first post-season honor that Hofferd has received for her play on the court. Last season, Hofferd was honored for her work in the classroom, as she was the lone member of the women's volleyball program to garner NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete recognition.

This season, Hofferd tallied a career-high 22 kills versus Concordia University on November 3rd in her final match as a Warrior. The senior co-captain registered 10-or-more kills 16 times, while tallying 20-or-more kills twice.

The 2003 Summit High School graduate ended her four-year Corban career with 490 kills, 52 assists, 123 service aces, 673 digs, and 105 blocks.

Her averages of 1.52 kills per game, 0.38 services aces per game, 2.10 digs per game, and 0.33 blocks per game rank among the top 20 on the career lists in Warrior history.

Hofferd becomes the fourteenth Warrior to receive honorable mention on the all-conference team since the Cascade Collegiate Conference began in 1995
