Men’s Basketball: Oregon State Downs Northern Colorado, 69-67

Greeley, Colo. - Wesley Washington hit the game-winning shot Friday as the Oregon State Beavers defeated Northern Colorado, 69-67.

Marcel Jones had a career-high 35 points. He breaks a long drought, as he is the first Beaver to score 30 or more since Jan. 4th, 2000, when Brian Jackson scored 32 against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

Kyle Jeffers had his second consecutive double-double.

He had 10 points and a career-high 12 rebounds in back-to-back games against Hawaii and Northern Colorado.

They are the first and second double-doubles of his career.

Oregon State is now 3-3 on the year.

Up next for the Beavers, is a game Sunday at Montana State.
