Men's Basketball: Ducks Shock #18 Georgetown, 57-50

Oregon is 6-0 for the first time since the 2002-03 season.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The University of Oregon knocked off No.18 Georgetown 57-50 Wednesday night.

The Ducks (6-0) were led by Aaron Brooks who scored 15 points.

Bryce Taylor had 14 points for Oregon, who are 6-0 for the first time since the 2002-03 season.

The victory was also the first ever for Oregon on the road against a ranked team in the Eastern time zone.

Jonathan Wallace led the Hoyas (4-2) in scoring with 17 points.

Malik Hairston returned for the Ducks after a groin injury sidelined him for the first five games of the season, came off the bench to score eight points.

Up next for the Ducks is the University of Nebraska in the Pape’ Jam on Saturday December 9th, in Portland.

Tip-off is set for noon.
