SEATTLE, Wash - Bretton Stamler had a hat trick to lead the Seattle Thunderbirds to a 5-1 win over the Portland Winter Hawks Saturday at Key Arena in Seattle.

Rob Klinkhammer’s power play goal off a pretty feed by 16-year-old rookie Tristan King was Portland’s lone goal. The Hawks had a tough time generating any pressure on Seattle all night as the Hawks were outshot 26-19.
