EUGENE - Tatianna Thomas, a 5-11 guard from Hart High School in Newhall, Calif., has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the University of Oregon, head coach Bev Smith announced on Wednesday.

Thomas, a high school teammate of current UO freshman Taylor Lilly, was a first team All-Foothill League selection as a junior, her first season at Hart.

The 5-11 wing spent her first two years at Bishop Alemany (Calif.), where she was a first team All-Mission League choice as a sophomore.

Rated as a four-star prospect by national recruiting service Scout.com, Thomas, who played club ball with the Finest Basketball Club, was ranked No. 71 among the top 100 recruits in the country and No. 40 among guards.

She will enroll at the university in the fall of 2007.
