Oregon State Softball Hosts Fall Tournament This Weekend

The 2006 OSU squad finished the year with a 43-16 overall record, won a program-best 28 consecutive games, and was ranked as high as #5 nationally.

CORVALLIS - Oregon State’s softball program will host a fall tournament this weekend at the OSU Softball Complex.

The Beavers will compete in six games during the two-day tournament which features teams from Oregon, Washington, and California.

Oregon State returns 11 players from last season’s NCAA Women’s College World Series team, including All-American pitcher Brianne McGowan and All-American utility player Cambria Miranda.

Admission is free.

9:00 AM – Western Oregon vs. Shasta Creations

10:30 AM – Oregon State vs. Shasta Creations

Noon – Western Oregon vs. Columbia Basin College

1:30 PM – Shasta Creations vs. Columbia Basin College

3:00 PM – Oregon State vs. Western Oregon

4:30 PM – Oregon State vs. Columbia Basin College

Sunday, Oct. 15th

9:00 AM – Oregon State vs. Lower Columbia College

10:30 AM – Oregon State vs. Portland State

Noon – Lower Columbia College vs. Portland State

1:30 PM – Lower Columbia College vs. Seattle University

3:00 PM – Portland State vs. Seattle University
