KLAMATH FALLS - Oregon Tech senior forward Brandy Bocchi scored both goals in the Hustlin’ Owls 2-1 win over Corban at the Klamath County Sports Complex Friday afternoon.

The Owls (9-7, 3-4) spotted Corban (5-11, 3-4) a 1-0 lead in the first half when Tech goalie Jaclyn Unruh got caught to far from the goal and Corban junior forward Megan Waunch drilled home the ball to an open net at 19:53 of the first half with an assist going to Sarah Whaley.

Bocchi nailed her first goal of the game on a header off a corner kick by freshman Sarah Brown just before the first half concluded. For Bocchi it was her her 10th goal of the year. The senior from Klamath Falls didn’t start the game due nagging injuries.

Bocchi’s equalizer came at the 44:06 mark and the half ended dead even at one apiece.

Bocchi got the winning goal late in the contest at 81:41 as the ball was deflected off Corban goalie Kim Mendenhall to seal the win for Tech.
