Men’s Basketball: OSU Holding Open Scrimmage Before Saturday’s Football Game

Led by fifth-year head coach Jay John, OSU boasts one of the top returning frontcourts in the Pacific-10 Conference and will be looking to improve on last year’s injury-plagued 13-18 record.

CORVALLIS - The Oregon State men’s basketball team, just a couple of weeks away from its season opener, will hold an open scrimmage Saturday morning prior to the OSU-USC football game.

The Beavers will practice from 8:00 to 10:00 AM in Gill Coliseum.

The public is invited to attend and admission is free.

The OSU football game is at 12:30 PM at Reser Stadium.

The Beavers have a home exhibition game on Sunday, Nov. 5th, against Saint Martin’s at 2:00 PM.

OSU then opens the regular season with the Oregon Rain Invitational, a three-day, four-team, round-robin tournament in Gill Coliseum on Nov. 10th-12th.
