Beaver Dam Jam Set For Friday Night

Following the basketball teams’ appearances, Gill Coliseum will play host to “After Hours at Oregon State,” one in a series of nighttime events around campus to give students a safe and fun place to hang out on a Friday night.

CORVALLIS - Oregon State basketball fans will be able to get their first introductions to the 2006-07 men’s and women’s teams Friday night in Gill Coliseum following the OSU women’s volleyball match at the Beaver Dam Jam.

After the Beavers’ volleyball match, which begins at 7 PM and is against Arizona State, the women’s basketball team will be introduced at approximately 9:30 PM, followed by the men at 10:00 PM.

OSU students will have the opportunity to take part in shooting contests.

The finals of the Domino’s Dunkoff, a students-only dunk contest, will also be held.

The basketball teams are not expected to practice.

“The Essentials,” will play between intermissions.

Free food will be provided.

Volleyball tickets cost $6 for adults and $4 for children, but students and the public will be let in for free following the match to the Beaver Dam Jam.
