OLYMPIA, Wash. - At the 2006 Arno Zoske Tournament, Corban's women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season, 1-0, at the hands of Rocky Mountain College Friday afternoon.

The Lady Bears from Billings, Montana, struck first in the 11th minute when Rocky Mountain's Alexis DeLeo scored the game's only goal (unassisted).

Following a Corban foul, DeLeo lofted a ball into the box and had it richochet off of a Warrior player and into the back of the net.

After Rocky Mountain grabbed the lead, the Lady Bears played a defensive game and held the Warriors to 3 shots in each half with none having a chance to find the back of the net.

Senior Lyndsey Hawk led Corban with 2 shots, while four other players could only muster a shot each.

Corban's senior goalkeeper Kim Mendenhall recorded a game-high 11 saves, but could not register her 3rd consecutive victory to open the 2006 campaign.

Corban is now 2-1 overall, while Rocky Mountain find itself at 1-1 overall.
