SALEM - It’s week three for high school football in Oregon. Non-conference play continues this week. West Salem hopes to remain undefeated in non-conference play. The Titians travel Friday to Roseburg for a game with the Indians who are also (1-0). South Salem, North Salem, and McNary are looking to get back on track this week. The Saxons (1-1) travel to Portland to take on Reynolds (0-1). The Vikings (1-1) are at home this week for a game against Summit (0-2), while the Celtics (1-1) also travel to Portland to take on Wilson (0-1). McKay and Redmond hope to continue their winning ways. The Royal Scots play host to North Medford (0-1), while the Panthers host Beaverton (0-2). Sprague is looking for some offense and defensive help, and for it’s first win of the year. The Olympians (0-2) face the Evergreen Plainsmen (1-1) from Vancouver, Washington at home Friday night. In their two losses, Sprague has given-up 49 and 33 points, while their offense has scored 21 and 7 points. In the Capital Conference; North Marion is on a roll and hopes to remain undefeated. The Huskies (2-0) , who are averaging over 32 points per game, play host to the Banks Braves (0-2), who are giving up nearly 32 points per game. In the Pac-West Conference; Santiam Christian is averaging nearly 45 points per game, and has only allowed 14 points, looks to keep their winning ways alive. The Eagles (2-0) travel to face the Dayton Pirates who are also undefeated on the year (2-0). The Pirates won in overtime opening night 21-20 over Regis, and last week defeated Scio 34-12.
