SALEM - In its first match of the season against a nationally-ranked team, Corban's women's soccer team was completely dominated from the opening whistle by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' (NAIA) No. 6-ranked Cavaliers of Concordia, 5-0, on Saturday at Warrior Field.

The visiting Cavaliers scored four goals in the first 30 minutes of the game, as Jessica Ramback scored back-to-back goals in the opening twelve minutes.

Ramback's first goal was scored in the 3rd minute on an assist from Jennifer Hughes, while her second goal came in the 12th minute on an assist from Justine Pronovost.

In the 20th minute, Concordia's Shea Miller teamed up with Erin Forge't and Noel Cameron for her 5th goal of the season.

Just over ten minutes later, Pronovost ended the first half scoring when she headed home her team-leading 10th goal of the season on another combo assist from Miller and Cameron.

In the opening minutes of the second half, the Cavaliers ended the game's scoring when Haley Jones scored an unassisted goal (her 2nd of the season) after beating a pair of Warrior defenders.

Corban's senior goalkeeper Kim Mendenhall registered a game-high 7 saves, while facing 21 shots. The Warriors did not register a single shot throughout the entire game, as Concordia's defense shut down any opportunity that Corban had. Senior Lyndsey Hawk had the best chance for Corban when she took the ball through the middle and lofted a pass towards on-coming freshman Nikki Larson, but the pass went too far and CU's keeper Leah Flores was able to pick it up.

Corban is now 3-6-0 overall, 1-1-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.
