MONMOUTH - For the second straight outing, Western Oregon used a balanced attack to roll to a four-game volleyball win, defeating Alaska Anchorage 30-25, 17-30, 30-28 and 30-24 on Saturday night at the Physical Education Building. With the win, WOU improved to 3-3 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, and they are 5-11 overall. Alaska Anchorage falls to 3-9 on the year and to 0-4 in conference play. The Wolves, who also won in four games on Thursday against Alaska Fairbanks on Thursday, had four players in double figure kill totals for the second time in two matches. Shakira Jenkins had 18 put-aways, Katrina Johnson had 12 and Laura Sakala and Lisa Martini added 10. Setter Amy Herron had 15 digs to lead the defense.
