Willamette Set to Host 32nd Annual Charles Bowles Invitational Saturday

Ten ranked men’s teams are entered in the competition, including Willamette, which is ranked #15 in the NCAA Division III poll. On the women’s side, eight nationally ranked teams are entered. The Bearcats women’s team is ranked #13 nationally at the Division III level.

SALEM - The Willamette University men’s and women’s cross country programs will be hosting over 1,200 runners this Saturday, at Bush Pasture Park during the 32nd Annual Charles Bowles Invitational.

The meet will begin at 9:30 AM with the men’s 8K Cardinal Race.

That will be followed by the women’s 5K Cardinal Race at 10:10 AM, the men’s 8K Gold Race at 10:40 AM, and the women’s 5K Gold Race at 11:20 AM.

The Gold races will have teams from NCAA Division I, junior colleges, club teams, and unattached runners. Three Division I nationally ranked men’s teams are set to compete, as well as one Division I nationally ranked women’s team.
