MONMOUTH - Western Oregon found its missing offense and they found it often during a 4-0 women’s non-conference soccer victory over Warner Pacific on Tuesday afternoon at the WOU Soccer Field.

The Wolves, who had scored only one total goal previously in three matches, improved to 2-1-1 on the year with the win. The Knights dropped to 0-3.

WOU outshot their visitors 37-2, including 21-0 in the first half. The tally was 17-2 in shots on goal.

Amy Weberg had a goal and an assist, and WOU also received goals from Lisa Munyon, Erica Hibbard and Aly Reamer.

Munyon started the scoring just shy of 13 minutes, taking a pass from Weberg and knocking it down from 15 yards. Hibbard was next at 32:26 with a penalty kick, helping the Wolves to a 2-0 lead at the half.

Reamer scored at 53:01 on a free kick, and Weberg capped the scoring with just 10 minutes left to play on a high shot down the middle that found the top of the goal.

Ally Meyer posted her third consecutive shutout and had two saves.

The Wolves will continue non-league action this week with a Friday match at Lewis & Clark (4 PM) and a Saturday home match versus Albertson (1 PM).
