SALEM - The Sprague Olympians fell to (0-2) on the season after losing to the McMinnville Grizzlies 33-7 Friday night in McMinnville.

The West Salem Titans (1-0) got their 2006 season off on the right track by pounding the Newberg Tigers 47-12.

The McKay Royal Scots evened their record to (1-1) in non-conference play blasting the Springfield Millers 40-14 at McKay.

The South Salem Saxons (1-1) were roughed-upped in Roseburg 41-16. North Salem (1-1) lost a tight game with the South Eugene Axemen in Eugene 10-3.

The McNary Celtics (1-1) lost it’s first game of the year at home to the Sandy Pioneers 38-21.

Redmond (1-1) won it’s first game of the year by beating the Bend Lava Bears 35-34 in 2 overtimes.
