Salem, Oregon Gas Prices Holding Steady Despite Middle East Crisis

The national average for regular unleaded slipped one-and-a-half cents this week to $3.47.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem Oregon Gas Prices Gas prices in Oregon are holding steady, or have ticked down a bit, despite the on going conflicts in oil producing countries, and declining domestic refinery production.

In the Salem-area, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded remained at $3.87. In Portland-Vancouver, the average price dropped one cent this past week to $3.90. In Eugene-Springfield the price held steady at $3.87, while Medford-Ashland the price dropped one penny to $3.98.

Salem, Oregon Gas Prices Continue to Fall

The top five most expensive states are Hawaii, Alaska, California, Oregon and Washington.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem Oregon Gas Prices While the national average for regular unleaded dipped a nickel this week to $3.52, Oregon’s average slipped one-and-a-half cents to $3.93.

In the Salem-Keizer area, the average price fell one cent to $3.90, while in the Portland-Vancouver area dropped two cents to $3.92 a gallon.

Salem, Willamette Valley Gas Prices Continue to Fall

Oregon, Salem Gas Prices Should Begin to Move Downward

Four states continue to be in the $4-per-gallon club: Hawaii ($4.33), Alaska ($4.22), California ($4.14) and Washington State ($4.01). Oregon has the fifth highest gas prices in the country at $3.98.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - Oregon Gas Prices Crude oil and wholesale gasoline prices are ticking down, but drivers across the country continue to pay the highest prices for gas since 2008.

Oregon’s average is holding steady at $3.981. In Salem, the average price on Wednesday was $ 3.96, the same average price as one week ago.

U.S. Gas Prices Remain High, But Starting Downward Slide

Oregon remains in the top-5 of highest average gas prices in the country.

(WASHINGTON, D.C. ) - US GAS PRICES The national average price of gas has fallen for ten straight days, but remains the highest price for this calendar date since 2008.

In the Salem area the average price for regular unleaded gasoline rose one cent as of Monday to $3.98. Eugene and Medford remain over $4.00 a gallon as of Monday.

Salem Gas Prices Jump 3 Cents; Oregon Nears $4 Dollars a Gallon

Salem area average gas prices in the past week have jumped 3-cents to $3.98.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - Salem Oregon Gas Prices The majority of drivers in the U.S. will pay the most expensive gas prices for the 4th of July holiday since 2008.

The national average reached its year-to-date high of $3.70 on April 28. The Oregon average could breach $4 a gallon given the global run-up in crude oil prices, but unless there’s a major disruption to supply in the Middle East, prices are not expected to climb much higher than that.

The situation in Iraq continues to put pressure on global oil prices, as markets weigh the potential for supply disruptions from OPEC’s second largest producer.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Gas Prices The national average price of gas has stopped increasing as we approach the Independence Day holiday, though prices remains at a six-year high for this time of year. Tuesday’s national average for regular unleaded gasoline is $3.68 per gallon.

The current price at the pump is 19-cents more than at this time last year ($3.49). In comparison to previous Independence Day holidays, motorists will face prices that are the highest since 2008, with today’s average ($3.68) surpassing the holiday’s price per gallon from: 2013 ($3.48); 2012 ($3.34); 2011 ($3.57); 2010 ($2.74); and 2009 ($2.62).

U.S. Gas Prices Hit Six Year High Due to Violence in Iraq

In the Salem - Metro area, drivers are paying an average of $3.96 a gallon, compared to $3.72 one year ago for regular unleaded gasoline.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Gas Price Pain As the end of the first full month of the 2014 summer driving season, the national price for regular unleaded gasoline is $3.68 per gallon, which is the highest price for early summer in six years.

The average price at the pump has increased for 12 consecutive days for a total of four cents per gallon, narrowing the gap between the current retail price and the 2014 peak of $3.70 per gallon reached on April 28.

Crisis in Iraq Sends Oregon Fuel Prices Soaring

Diesel prices are holding fairly steady. Oregon’s average gained two cents to $3.94.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - oregon gas prices Gas prices are edging up as violence in Iraq has intensified.

The national average for regular unleaded adds two cents this week to $3.66 a gallon while the Oregon average gains three cents to $3.93, which is the year-to-date high. In fact, all of Oregon’s measured metro areas are at their peak price so far for 2014.

California, Washington and Oregon all remain in the top 10 most expensive states. California is second, Washington is fourth and Oregon is eighth.

Gas Prices: AAA`s Fuel Gauge Report - USA and Oregon

The rising national average is mirrored at the state level, where pump prices are universally moving higher.

(PORTLAND, OR) - Gas prices Today’s national average price at the pump is $3.42 per gallon.

This price is six cents more expensive than one week ago and 13 cents more than one month ago; however national prices remain 36 cents per gallon less than the same date last year.
