CCSO Arrests Fleeing Federal Fugitive that Crashed into Gladstone Residence

(GLADSTONE, Ore.) - Lester Dane Blanton, 28, of Seattle On Friday, October 15, 2010 at 1:16 p.m. a Clackamas County Sheriff's Deputy witnessed a Volvo moving recklessly at the intersection of SE River Road and McLoughlin Boulevard, in Gladstone.

After a high-speed pursuit was initiated by the fleeing suspect he crashed into a residence, fled the scene of the crash on foot, and was soon apprehended at gunpoint by a Clackamas County Deputy Sheriff. This suspect was later discovered to be a federal fugitive with a significant arrest warrant and criminal history.

Baseball Bat Attack During Home Invasion Leaves Two Hospitalized

An apparent revenge attack over an attempted rape was carried out on the wrong people.

(GLADSTONE, Ore.) - Home Invasion Gladstone Police are investigating a home invasion that left two people injured at an apartment complex on Caldwell Road. Sgt. Lynne Benton with Gladstone Police says they were notified of the attack at about 4:00 AM.

Officers responded to the call after a report that 4-5 subjects kicked in the apartment door and beat a guest who was sleeping on the couch with a baseball bat.

Oregon Target Store Masturbator Goes to Court

The suspect is charged with third degree sex abuse and harassment.

(OREGON CITY, Ore. ) - Ricardo Faulk A Gladstone, Oregon man who police say masturbated and then put his fluids on a female shopper in a Target store faced a Judge for the first time Wednesday.

Police say Ricardo Faulk was caught on a surveillance camera touching himself, and then spreading his bodily fluids on a woman inside the store who was shopping with her 3-year-old daughter.

Police Arrest Suspect in Gladstone Stabbing

Initial statements indicate the motive for the attack was probably drug related.

(GLADSTONE, Ore.) - Oregon Stabbing suspect Wayne Dean Police in Gladstone say a person was stabbed in the neck by an acquaintance Friday at about 8:40 PM. The attack occurred on McLoughlin Blvd near Arlington Street in Gladstone.

Investigators say the victim was stabbed in the neck by an acquaintance, named Wayne Richard Dean. The victim is reported to currently be in stable condition at OHSU.

Oregon State Police Seeking Driver in Fatal Hit and Run

The suspect vehicle, is described as an unknown year, dark colored, possibly a Ford Econoline van, with right front headlight assembly damage.

(GLADSTONE, Ore. ) - police search image An unidentified adult female in a wheelchair died Wednesday morning from injuries sustained when she was struck by a hit & run driver while attempting to cross Highway 99E (SE McGloughlin Blvd) between Jennings Avenue and Boardman Avenue.

At approximately 6:00 a.m. the victim got off a Tri-Met bus on the west side of Highway 99E and attempted to cross the highway during foggy, dark conditions. The victim was struck in the middle of the two southbound lanes and dragged approximately 100 feet in her wheelchair.

Murder Suspect Arrested in Stabbing Death of Megan Kohl

Megan Kohl had been found stabbed to death at the Gladstone Apartment where she had been staying with her two friends.

(GLADSTONE, Ore.) - 33-year old Robert Burton Bettelyoun A prime suspect has emerged from the Megan Kohl homicide that occurred at 250 W. Arlington on July 21st of last year in Gladstone, Oregon.

The Clackamas County Major Crimes Team and US Marshals arrested 33-year old Robert Burton Bettelyoun at a home in Washington County on Friday, June 1st, 2007, after what they describe as an extensive investigation.

Couple`s Gladstone Home Searched for Running an Alleged Prostitution Business

Statistically, the City of Gladstone has low arrest numbers for prostitution and related charges.

(GLADSTONE, Ore.) - Prostitute being arrested Today, the Gladstone Police and the Clackamas County Interagency Task Force served a search warrant on 1400 Cornell Avenue in Gladstone. Detectives interviewed 43-year old Christina Lee Smith, and her husband, 24-year old Austin J. Batchelor, regarding their alleged promotion of prostitution business.

This investigation is continuing and will be delivered to the District Attorney's office when completed for consideration of charges. Police initially started this investigation after community members reported what they were seeing at their neighbor's home.

A Suspicious Death in Gladstone is Being Handled by the Clackamas County Major Crimes Team

(GLADSTONE) - The Gladstone Police were dispatched to 250 W. Arlington on a female who was unconscious and not breathing. Police found that she was deceased and termed it as a "suspicious death."

The Clackamas County Major Crimes Team was activated and will now be investigating and collecting evidence at the crime scene over the next several hours.

Police have no current suspects and are interviewing the woman's two roommates who found their friend deceased when they returned home from work.
