$500 REWARD: For Information about Illegal Deer Kill in Harney CountySalem-News.com
Officials say the deer was shot sometime during the evening of September 17 or the morning of September 18, 2010.
(BURNS, Ore.) - Oregon State Police (OSP) Fish and Wildlife Division troopers from the Burns work site are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect(s) responsible for an illegal deer kill that occurred within the city limits of Hines, Oregon. A reward of up to $500 for information leading to an arrest in this case is being offered by the Oregon Hunters Association Turn in a Poacher (T.I.P.) Program. The T.I.P. reward program pays for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) involved in the illegal killing, taking, possession or waste of big game animals, upland game birds or waterfowl.Read Full Article

Fatal Traffic Crash Highway 20 East of Burns - UpdateSalem-News.com
A pickup taking a left turn was crashed into by a truck attempting to pass them, in a no passing zone.
(BURNS, Ore.) - Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers from the Burns work site, with the assistance of an OSP Crash Reconstructionist, are continuing the investigation into Tuesday evening's fatal traffic crash along Highway 20 about 22 miles east of Burns. The collision resulted in the death of an adult female, serious injuries to her husband, and minor injuries to a commercial truck driver.Read Full Article
