Four Years Too Long for POW Sgt. Bowe R. Bergdahl

(PHILADELPHIA) - Sgt. Bowe R. Bergdahl is a POW in Afghanistan This morning a large number of supporters for POW Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl got up early and traveled to downtown Philly setting up camp in front the studios of Fox 29 TV.

Our sole purpose was to speak out, educate and advocate that there is a “live” American soldier being held as a prisoner of war now for Four years too long! He needs to come home Now!

The event, planned for June 22, 2013, is a community event turned rally to support the Bergdahl family.

Children Taken from Three Prominent Idaho Marijuana Activists

Sarah’s two children were staying with Lindsey’s two children under the care of a babysitter while Sarah, Lindsey, and Josh vacationed for the weekend in the mountains.

(PORTLAND, OR) - Compassionate Idaho’s Lindsey Rinehart – multiple sclerosis patient, chief petitioner for Idaho’s medical marijuana initiative, and now, mother fighting for the return of her children. Four young boys have been taken by the State of Idaho Child Protective Services from their families.

Three prominent marijuana activists are now fighting for their children and their freedom.

Idaho Firm Recalls Fully Cooked Meat and Poultry Products Due to Potential Listeria Monocytogenes Contamination

Class 1 recall, heath risk high...

(WASHINGTON DC) - Food under recall LJD Holdings, Inc., doing business as B and D Foods, a Boise, Idaho establishment, is recalling approximately 33,500 pounds of fully cooked meat and poultry products due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service made the announcement today.

Friends of Minidoka Deeply Disappointed by Court`s Decision

Idaho History Groups Disheartened by Idaho Supreme Court Decision Sanctioning Factory Farm at WWII Japanese American Incarceration Site

(TWIN FALLS, ID) - Incarcerated Americans of Japanese origin from the west coast being offloaded at Minidoka internment camp in Idaho. Advocates are deeply disappointed by the Idaho Supreme Court’s decision to uphold a permit for a factory farm operation that poses major hazards to Minidoka National Historic Site and surrounding families.

As an incarceration facility for Japanese American citizens during World War II, Minidoka is an important part of history.

Celebrating our 10th Annual Minidoka Pilgrimage and recognizing the 70th Anniversary signing of Executive Order 9066

(SEATTLE) - Sept '95 photo of ruins of Camp Minidoka in Idaho Seventy years ago, almost 13,000 people of Japanese-ancestry, many of whom were American citizens, were removed from their homes and sent to a desolate “incarceration camp" near Twin Falls, Idaho.

This summer, the 10th pilgrimage will take place with former internees, their families, and friends - from Seattle, Portland and across the nation - to the former Minidoka Camp in Idaho.

Searchers and Law Enforcement Still Working Hard to Find Mark Bosworth

There is a $10,000 reward for information that leads us to Mark.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Find Mark Bosworth Volunteer search and rescue members continued spot checks in Douglas County today, in the search for Mark Bosworth.

A team checked out a couple of areas on Cow Creek Road following a hunch Mark could have wandered that direction. Cow Creek Road stretches to the southwest awa from Riddle and runs along its namesake creek. No sign of Mark was found.

The 2nd annual Day of Remembrance Taiko Festival will be held in February.

(SEATTLE) - Minidoka Pilgrimage The “Day of Remembrance” is an annual observance of the signing of Executive Order 9066, when President Franklin D. Roosevelt that ordered 120,000 Americans of Japanese ancestry to be imprisoned in concentration camps during World War II.

Decades later, the order was deemed unconstitutional and was belatedly but dramatically reversed by the passage of the Civil Liberties Act of 1988.
