The matter is probably not over. Sterling has said he will not sell the team.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - NBA Commissioner Adam Silver National Basketball Association Commissioner Adam Silver has banned Los Angeles Clipper’s owner Donald Sterling for life, fined him $2.5 million, and will urge the board of governors to force a sale of the team following the publication of a recorded conversation between Sterling and his ex-mistress, V. Stiviano, during which Sterling made racist comments.

Was it legal for Stiviano to record the conversation?

Though short and sweet, “Dumb Starbucks” was started up as a comedy act for comedian Nathan Fielder, who stars in a television series, Nathan for You.

As the popularity grew for this new coffee shop, people wanted to satisfy their curiosity.

LA takes big steps to curb plastic bag use, includes brand new cartoon by Los Angeles artist, Shelli Pruett.

(LOS ANGELES) - Los Angeles City Hall A new law banning single-use plastic bags in Los Angeles, passed with a 9-1 city council vote, went into effect on the first of January. Los Angeles is the most populous city in the U.S. to enact an ordinance ending this business practice which is called highly wasteful by environmental groups.

It will take some getting used to, but the ban does closely mirror the ordinance adopted by unincorporated L.A. County in 2011, reports Laist.com
