Hindus Call for Prayers for Missing Malaysia Airlines Flight

Expressing deep sympathies to the families and loved ones of the passengers and the crew of this plane missing since March eight after departing from Kuala Lumpur, Rajan Zed said that it was highly tragic and difficult time for them.

(RENO) - Malaysia Airlines Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has called for prayers for the passengers and crew of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 and their relatives and loved ones.

Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, appealed to the worldwide Hindu community to hold special prayer sessions in Hindu temples.

Missing Plane Possibly Located Off Vietnamese Coast

Hong Kong's Air Traffic Control Center reported the debris field was spotted by a passing airliner.

(SALEM) - MH370 has been missing for four days. An aviation Website reports via the Hong Kong Air Traffic Control Center, that a large field of debris has been located at position N9.72 E107.42, about 80 nautical miles southeast of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

The wreckage was reportedly observed about fifty nautical miles off of Vietnam's southeast coast, in the South China Sea.

Malaysia Airlines MH370 Flight Incident - 7th Media Statement

Passenger plane remains missing, officials are doing what they can to comfort and aid families.

(SEPANG) - Malysia Airlines Boeing 777-200 More than 24 hours after the lost of contact with Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, the search and rescue teams are still unable to detect the whereabouts of the missing aircraft.

The airline is doing its utmost to provide support to the affected family members, this includes immediate financial aid. The airline has deployed a team of 94 caregivers consisting of well-trained staff and also Tzu Chi Foundation members to provide emotional support to the families.

Malaysian Police Rescue 10 Burmese Hostages

State police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi said that a couple holding cards from the United Nations High Commission for Refugees were also detained in the operation.

(KUALA LAMPUR The Irrawaddy) - Child with bound hands Police in Malaysia’s Penang State rescued 10 Burmese nationals, including two children, from a house where they were being held for ransom, the Malaysian news agency Bernama reported on Monday.

The hostages, aged eight to 22, are believed to be victims of a crime syndicate that smuggled them across the border from Thailand and demanded payment for their freedom from their families in Burma.

The confiscation of more than 300 Bibles by Enforcement Officers from the Selangor Islamic Affairs Department on 2nd January 2014 is a clear transgression of the 10-point Solution arrived at between the Federal Government and the Christian community on 2nd April 2011.

The Solution was further reiterated in an official letter from the Malaysian Prime Minister, Dato Sri Mohd Najib, to Bishop Ng Moon Hing, Chairman of the Christian Federation of Malaysia on 11th April 2011.

– Stop disciplinary action against workers for exercising their political rights.

(YORK, UK) - DRB-Hicom Automotive Complex On 3/5/2013, a group of 18 workers submitted the MTUC memorandum to one of the contesting candidates in the Pekan parliamentary constituency, which also happens to be the constituency that the Prime Minister of Malaysia was contesting.

On account of this act, disciplinary action has been initiated by 2 DRB HICOM companies based in Pekan against these 18 workers.
