(SALEM, Ore.) - Christopher Mirasolo A Michigan judge has granted parental rights to a convicted sex offender, providing the man with access to a child who is the product of the rape of a 12-year-old girl.

Sanilac County Circuit Judge Gregory Ross in Michigan has given parental rights to a man that raped a 12-year old girl over a matter of days while he held her and her young friend against their will, threatening their lives.

(BROOKLYN, Mich. ) - Jeff Gordon NASCAR Jeff Gordon passed Joey Logano on a restart with 17 laps to go and held off the field to win the Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday at Michigan International Speedway.

NASCAR: Tony Stewart Will Not Race at Michigan

Earlier this week, Stewart canceled plans to race at Plymouth Speedway (in Indiana) this weekend.

(BROOKLYN, Michigan) - Tony Stewart Tony Stewart will not drive this weekend in the Sprint Cup Series at Michigan International Speedway. Instead, Jeff Burton will drive the No. 14 Chevrolet for Stewart-Haas Racing at the 2-mile track.

According to a team release, the driver change only pertains to the Michigan race. Stewart's plans for the upcoming Sprint Cup Series schedule have yet to be determined.

The ACLU has argued that a governmental entity cannot censor speech just because it is controversial, unpopular or stirs people's emotions.

(ANN ARBOR Michigan ) - Blaine Coleman's rejected Boycott Israel ad. The Ann Arbor Transportation Authority's board of directors held a special meeting Thursday to revise the agency's advertising policy after a federal judge declared parts of it unconstitutional.
