Oregon's event, claimed to be first time in Portland and described as “divine opportunity”, will be performed in a special mandap ordered from India.
(RENO, NV.) -
Hindu gods will reportedly be getting married in the coming weeks in grand ceremonies in Arizona, Wisconsin, Oregon and Washington states of USA.
In a statement in Nevada today, Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, applauded efforts of India’s Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and temple communities in USA to organize this ancient ceremony.

Helicopter Tour Flight Near Las Vegas Crashes: Five Dead

At this point, there is no known cause for the crash and few details.
(SALEM) -
A helicopter pilot and five passengers were killed in a crash out of Las Vegas Wednesday around 5:00 p.m. Andrew Munoz with the National Park Service, says the aircraft was operated by Sundance Helicopters. It crashed about four miles west of the edge of Lake Mead, in the River Mountains.
A security employee who works in the national recreational area heard the crash and observed a column of smoke that marked the spot of the crash. It came down in an area about 30 miles from Las Vegas, that can not be accessed by road.

Dan Wheldon, the 2011 winner of the Indianapolis 500, perhaps the most well-known racing competition in the world, lost his life in a tragic crash this week in Las Vegas, at the age of 33
The English race driver was the 2005 Indy Racing League IndyCar Series champion, and in he won the Indianapolis 500 in 2005 as well as this year's event. He died from injuries shortly after a collision at the 2011 IZOD IndyCar World Championship at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Sunday.

ReconTrust Drives up Foreclosures in Oregon

Washington saw a 12.1 percent slip in Notice of Trustee Sale filings from March, and were down 25.4 percent year-over-year.
(DISCOVERY BAY, Calif.) -
More than twice as many Oregon homeowners received notices of default in April as in March, due to a flurry of filings by a single lender.
Notices of Default were up 236.2 percent from March and 72,27 percent over a year ago.
