Fatal Crash on Highway 99W Claims Life of Newberg Man

HWY 99W was closed for approximately three hours.

(LAFAYETTE, Ore.) - fatal crash on Highway 99W Wednesday afternoon, just before 2 p.m., emergency responders were notified of a serious injury crash on Highway 99W near Stoller Rd, two miles north of Lafayette.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2007 Ford pickup, pulling a dual axle utility trailer loaded with gravel, was southbound on Highway 99W, when for unknown reasons, veered right onto the southbound shoulder and then veered left into the oncoming northbound lane of travel.

Independence Man Injured in Hit and Run Crash

The suspect faces a long list of charges, including Failure to Install Ignition Interlock Device.

(NEWBERG, Ore. ) - Oregon State Police Oregon State Police arrested a 35-year-old man following an injury hit and run traffic crash Tuesday morning on Highway 219 south of Newberg.

The suspect driver was found in his crashed vehicle after continuing from the scene before stopped east of Highway 219 on Champoeg Road NE.

Vigil to be Held Friday Night for Family, Friends of Jennifer Huston

Huston, a mother of two boys, 3 and 6, was found dead on property in rural Yamhill County after a massive 12 day search for her both on the ground, in the air, and on social media.

(NEWBERG, Ore. ) - Salem-News.com Family, friends, and members of the Dundee and Newberg communities will hold a special vigil service on Friday night to remember the life of 38-year-old Jennifer Huston.

The vigil will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Hillside Church, located at 611 N. Main Street, in Newberg, Oregon.

Missing Oregon Mother Story Comes to Tragic End

The Hillside Church has offered to accept any notes, cards, and flowers on behalf of the Huston family.

(NEWBERG, Ore. ) - Jennifer Janelle Huston The Oregon State Medical Examiner said Wednesday that the female body found in rural Sheridan, Oregon on Tuesday morning was that of missing Oregon mother Jennifer Janelle Huston of Dundee.

The State Medical Examiner listed the cause of death as asphyxiation, and the manner of death is listed as suicide, police said.

Missing Oregon Mother Found Dead in Rural Yamhill County

While this is an active death investigation, there is nothing at this point to indicate foul play.

(SHERIDAN, Ore. ) - Jennifer Huston A property owner in rural Yamhill County found the vehicle, and police found the body at short time later of 38-year-old Jennifer Huston, who had been the target of a massive search online, in the air, and on the ground after she vanished after purchasing gas at a Newberg Circle-K/76 gas station around 6:32 p.m. on July 24.

The mother of two boys, ages 3 and 6, reportedly left her home in Dundee to run errands and told her husband she was feeling "stressed out".

Missing Ore. Woman May Have Been Spotted on Washington State Ferry

Police are quickly working on recovering the ferry and Anacortes and Friday Harbor terminal's surveillance video to see if they can spot Huston or her vehicle.

(FRIDAY HARBOR, Wash.) - Jennifer Huston Police in Washington State are actively searching for a missing Oregon mother who was spotted by a couple boarding a ferry in Anacortes headed for Friday Harbor Thursday morning.

The San Jan County Sheriff's Office says the couple was able to tell deputies everything currently known about 38-year-old Jennifer Huston and her vehicle. Police said the couple spotted a woman matching Huston's description on the 9:00 a.m. ferry, and even had all the current details about her vehicle.

Search for Missing Oregon Mom Will Continue Through the Weekend

The Newberg-Dundee Police Department is receiving many tips and potential leads and they will follow-up on each one, investigators said.

(NEWBERG, Ore. ) - Salem-News.com The search for a missing Oregon mother who vanished after getting gas from a Newberg gas station last week, will continue through the weekend Salem-News.com has learned, even though two law enforcement agencies say they have exhausted all leads, and will stop for now.

Despite some media reports in Oregon saying the search is coming to an official "end", police, family, and friends of 38-year-old Jennifer Huston don't see it that way, and will continue their search for her on the ground handing out fliers of the missing woman at various events taking place throughout the Willamette Valley. Several police agencies will also continue their searchers by land, water, and air during regular patrols.

Police will be conducting further aerial searches that will cover the west and central section of Yamhill County on Thursday and Friday.

(NEWBERG, Ore. ) - Jennifer Huston Missing Oregon Mother Thursday marks one week since an Oregon mom vanished after leaving her Dundee home to run errands, and was last seen getting gas at a Newberg gas station.

Family and friends of 38-year-old Jennifer Huston will continue their air and ground search again today, while Salem-News.com has learned that on the Find Jennifer Huston page on Facebook, searchers have started an interactive map where those who have searched areas for the missing mom, can post the locations they have searched so others can focus on other areas.

Arrangements have been made for a prayer service at a Newberg church on Tuesday. The community is invited to the service to be held at Hillside Church, 611 N Main Street, in Newberg at 7:00 p.m.

(NEWBERG, Ore. ) - Missing Oregon Mother Family and friends of 38-year-old Jennifer Huston are still searching near and far both on the ground and on social media to try and locate an Oregon mother of two who vanished without a trace on Thursday after she left the families home to run errands.

As Salem-News.com was first to report, the family posted Sunday on the Find Jennifer Huston Facebook page, that they are offering a reward for information that bring Jennifer back home.
