Lindsey Stone of Southern Oregon has been voted the Cascade Collegiate Conference’s Player of the Year, the league office announced. For the second straight year, Southern Oregon’s Josh Rohlfing and The College of Idaho’s Liz Mendiola were named Co-Coaches of the Year by their peers.

Oregon Air National Guard to Take Part in Veterans Day Flyovers Around the State

(SALEM, Oregon) -
The Oregon Air National Guard will conduct Veterans Day flyovers for various ceremonies at locations throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.
F-15 Eagle fighter jets from the 142nd Fighter Wing in Portland and the 173rd Fighter Wing at Kingsley Field are scheduled to conduct flyovers at the following locations and approximate times:
All passes will be approximately 1,000 feet above ground level and 350 knots airspeed. Flights could be cancelled or times changed due to inclement weather or operational contingencies.

Three Seriously Injured in Crash South of Prineville

State Police issue a warning about holiday winter driving.
(PRINVEVILLE, Ore.) -
Oregon State Police troopers are investigating a single vehicle rollover crash south of Prineville that resulted in serious injury to three people.
Investigators have not yet confirmed who was driving the vehicle.

Prineville Man Arrested Over August 2008 Fatal Traffic Crash north of Madras

The man was lodged at the Crook County Jail with a bail at $250,000.
(PRINEVILLE, Ore.) -
A Prineville man was arrested on charges relating to an August 2008 fatal traffic crash that happened north of Madras, resulting in the death of a Clackamas-area woman and injuries to six others.
Police say the arrest of 45-year old Todd A. Rhoden, follows an investigation and Grand Jury review into the August 17th 2008 fatal traffic crash on Highway 26 north of Madras.

The man, who admits he is primarily a vegetarian, says he would usually drive around in the darkness and shoot at deer when their eyes were reflected by his spotlight.
(PRINEVILLE, Ore.) -
A Prineville man arrested Friday for numerous wildlife-related crimes in what one trooper described as a "serial-type killing of wildlife."
Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Division investigators say that during the past several years north of Prineville, over a dozen deer have been found dead after they were shot and left to waste beside Forest Service Roads.

Oregon State Police believe there may be other victims who have not contacted police.

Oregon State Police arrested a Prineville man Friday who reportedly has been involved with numerous youth sports programs and the Crook County Chapter of the Boys & Girls Club of Central Oregon.
48-year old Brad William Hill was arrested on 164 counts of sex offenses that allegedly occurred involving a single victim over an approximate ten year period.

Man Sought in Disappearance of Oregon Teen

A $5,000 reward is being offered by her parents for her safe return.
(PRINEVILLE, Ore. ) -
Prineville police have identified an 18-year-old “person of interest” in the disappearance of 16-year-old Amanda Whitehurst from Prineville, Oregon.
Police say they are looking for Maxwell Alan Villa and two male juveniles who may be in a white 1997 Toyota 4-Runner, with Oregon license XLG 591, which was reported stolen.
Villa is described as 5’10, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
