(NEWPORT, OR) - Kids at Otter Rock surf contest The Surfrider Foundation will host the 4th annual Otter Rock n’ Roll Youth Surf and Beach Cleanup Challenge in celebration of International Surfing Day.

Observed globally, International Surfing Day celebrates the sport of surfing and helps raise awareness about issues facing our oceans, waves and beaches.

Petition: Boy Scouts of America: Reinstate Cub Scout leader Removed for Being Gay

I hated feeling that my family had been discriminated against, so I started a petition on Change.org asking the Boy Scouts of America to stop discriminating against gay people.

(TAMPA, FL) - Jennifer and Cruz Tyrrell My 7-year-old son, Cruz, loves being a Cub Scout, and he really loved when I got to be his pack's den leader.

But the Boy Scouts of America asked me to step down as the leader of my son's group -- just because I'm gay. Cruz doesn't understand why that matters, and frankly, neither do I.

(ONTARIO Postmedia News) - Fertility doctor Infertility is on the rise in Canada, according to the first study in nearly two decades to measure the proportion of Canadian couples who are having difficulty conceiving.

Woodburn Man Dies From Fall at Silver Falls State Park

Preliminary investigation indicates Daniel Bonham slipped while hiking and fell about 100 feet to where he was found.

(SALEM) - Death investigation 56-year old Daniel Frank Bonham of Woodburn, died Friday night after apparently slipping and falling to his death while hiking in Silver Falls State Park.

Oregon State Police (OSP), with the assistance of Marion County Sheriffs Office and the medical examiner, are continuing the investigation. Mr. Bonham's body was recovered Saturday morning.
