Police Raid Wrong House, Shooting 61 Year Old Homeowner to Death

These violent raids are what the government does to to rescue people from their own actions. And they can't even figure out which home they should be terrorizing.

(LEBANON, Tn) - Police raid in Lebanon, Tennessee 61 year-old John Adams was watching TV and thought that he was experiencing a (non-police) home invasion.

His wife saw two men who were banging on the door, Loraine Adams, who is 70, says the men did not identify themselves as police.

CAIR: Tenn. Legislator Says Remove All Muslims From Military

Muslim civil rights group asks Tennessee General Assembly to rebuke Rick Womick for 'un-American' remarks.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Many U.S. soldiers who are Muslim serve as interpreters in places like Iraq A prominent national Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization today called on the Tennessee General Assembly to formally rebuke one of its members who yesterday –- Veterans Day –- called for the removal of all Muslims serving in the military.

The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said Republican State Rep. Rick Womick made those "un-American" remarks at an "anti-Sharia" conference yesterday at which another speaker said American Mosques should not have First Amendment protections and have no right to exist.

Their motives were fueled by faith/conscience in protest of the continued and soon to be expanded production of Hydrogen Bomb materials at the Y-12 Complex.

The fire of resistance against nuclear weapons has been smoldering for three decades.

(KANSAS CITY) - Image from anti-nuke event in Kansas City. On Monday morning, August 16th, 14 nonviolent peace activists were arrested after blocking a Caterpillar truck on the site of a proposed WMD Facility in Kansas City, Missouri.

While choruses of "we shall not be moved" rose up and sunflower seeds were scattered down, citizens of all ages and shades of diversity, gathered to protest continued production of U.S. nuclear weapons, to demand a clean up of the old KC facility and they also exposed another collaboration of corporations and politicians who collude while the tax payer pays for it all.

36 arrested at Y-12 National Security Complex.

(OAK RIDGE, Tenn.) - Arrest at anti-nuclear rally in Tennessee Priests and nuns, atheists, anarchist and one clown were among the 23 arrested by the State and 13 by the Federal Government for nonviolently resisting Nuclear Weapons at Y-12 on 5 July 2010.

Those facing State charges were arrested for obstructing the road way, one for failing to obey a police officer and Federal charges are for trespassing.

Heavy Casualties in Afghanistan and Iraq

Unusual in this report, are the names of two female soldiers who died in Iraq. One, a NW soldier, died when her base was attacked by rocket fire. The second female soldier died from injuries suffered during a vehicle crash.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan The fighting in both Afghanistan and Iraq continues to claim many American lives. This report includes the names of seventeen members of the U.S. military who paid the ultimate price. Their deaths occurred between 5 March and 24 March 2010.

Of the seventeen, 11 were U.S. Army soldiers, 5 were U.S. Marines, and one Navy SEAL was also lost.

4-Day Old Baby Kidnapped by Man Posing as Immigration Official

A brand new infant is taken by an unidentified white female adult driving a police-type car.

(NASHVILLE, Ore.) - Yair Anthony Carrillo a 4-day old Hispanic male black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue and white striped onesie The State of Tennessee issued an Amber Alert Tuesday afternoon after a child was abducted in Nashville. Police say the suspect posed as an immigration worker.

A news release stated, "The suspect demanded that the child's mother turn over the child and when she refused the suspect stabbed the child's mother approximately eight times. The mother survived but the suspect was able to leave with the child."
