Agreement Reached on US 20 Eddyville-Pioneer Mountain Road Construction Project

Construction on Hwy 20, a popular route to the Oregon coast, will restart this summer.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Oregon construction Terms of the agreement include that YRC will pay ODOT $15 million dollars, both parties will waive claims against each other, and the Notice of Default ODOT issued to YRC in March of this year will be rescinded.

YRC will no longer have the contractual obligation to complete the project and will demobilize from the project site in an orderly manner.

AMA Urges Support of Bill Requiring EPA to seek Independent Scientific Analysis on the Effects of 15 Percent Ethanol

East Bound Lanes of Hwy 22W Near Rosemont Exit in Salem Closed Due to Vehicle-Pedestrian Collision

The eastbound lanes of Hwy 22W were re-opened at 11:15 p.m.

(SALEM) - Traffic during pedestrian crash in Salem, Oregon At 8;41 P.M., officers of the Salem Police Department responded to Hwy 22W near the Rosemont Exit on a report of a male running in traffic attempting to get struck by passing motorists.

Lieutenant Keith A. Blair with the Salem Police Department's Patrol Division, says additional reports indicated that citizens were attempting to subdue the male to prevent him from continuing his actions.
