Hindu Gods Getting Married in Oregon, Arizona, Wisconsin & Washington

Oregon's event, claimed to be first time in Portland and described as “divine opportunity”, will be performed in a special mandap ordered from India.

(RENO, NV.) - Lord Sri Venkateswara and Goddess Padmavathi Hindu gods will reportedly be getting married in the coming weeks in grand ceremonies in Arizona, Wisconsin, Oregon and Washington states of USA.

In a statement in Nevada today, Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, applauded efforts of India’s Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and temple communities in USA to organize this ancient ceremony.

Moms Against Bombs Make Statement at Nuke Base

Ground Zero holds three scheduled vigils and actions each year in resistance to Trident and in protest of U.S. nuclear weapons policy.

(SILVERDALE, WA) - Trident protestors with banner on roadway On May 12, 2012 activists blocked entry to the main gate at the Navy’s West coast Trident nuclear submarine base in an act of civil resistance to nuclear weapons.

Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action's peaceful vigil protested the U.S. government’s continued deployment and upgrading of the Trident nuclear weapons system.

`Moms Against Bombs` Coming to Bangor Trident Base

Ground Zero Center holds three scheduled vigils and actions each year in resistance to Trident and in protest of U.S. nuclear weapons policy and its costs.

(SEATTLE) - Trident protest in Bangor Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action will hold its annual Mother’s Day Weekend observance on Saturday, May 12th.

This year’s theme, “Moms Against Bombs”, honors the origin of Mother’s Day by Julia Ward Howe. In 1870, after the Civil War, Howe called for mothers everywhere to unite against the continuing use of violence and war to solve differences.

(PORTLAND, OR) - School bus image of passed our driver & heroic student. A middle school boy was a true hero today when his school bus driver collapsed at the wheel, and the boy acted instinctively, taking control of the vehicle.

His quick thinking and action prevented the bus from crashing into a church.

Celebrating our 10th Annual Minidoka Pilgrimage and recognizing the 70th Anniversary signing of Executive Order 9066

(SEATTLE) - Sept '95 photo of ruins of Camp Minidoka in Idaho Seventy years ago, almost 13,000 people of Japanese-ancestry, many of whom were American citizens, were removed from their homes and sent to a desolate “incarceration camp" near Twin Falls, Idaho.

This summer, the 10th pilgrimage will take place with former internees, their families, and friends - from Seattle, Portland and across the nation - to the former Minidoka Camp in Idaho.

Harley Thief Stole Chopper With Human Remains Mounted on Fender

Special Urn mounted on bike's rear fender contained remains of a wife and mother; the family is pleading to have them returned.

(TACOMA, WA) - Stolen Harley wih mother's urn mounted on rear "Help us find our mom!!!" That is the plea from a man in Tacoma, whose mom's remains are in an urn, mounted to the back of a Harley chopper that was stolen.

They took out a CraigsList ad, about their 1975 Harley Chopper that was stolen at the end of summer from Puyallup Washington.

Hanford Officials Claimed Hazardous Waste Leak Was Just Rain Dripping

– Watchdog Warns More Leaks Are Likely to Occur Due to Ongoing Violations and Thousands of Illegally Stored Drums

(KENNEWICK, WA) - The Hanford site represents two-thirds of the nation's high-level radioactive waste by volume. Hanford officials claimed a leak of what has been confirmed as numerous hazardous wastes was just dripping “rainwater.”

After confirming that hazardous wastes were leaking into the open from a concrete container at Hanford, the Washington Department of Ecology issued an “Immediate Action Letter” on Friday to the federal Energy Department (USDOE), which runs Hanford.
