Salem Man Drowns Inner Tubing on Molalla River

The man has been identified as Andrew Jason Moats, 19 years old, from Salem OR.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Death investigation The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and the Clackamas County Water Rescue Consortium responded to a call of a male stuck under water on the Molalla River. The location was just down stream of the Glenn Avon Bridge in the 35000 block of Dickey Prairie Rd.

Reports were that a male had fallen from his inner tube and was stuck against a tree and rocks. Two males who were with the victim were transported to the hospital for minor injuries they incurred while trying to rescue the victim.

Overdue Climber on Mt. Hood

The unnamed climber is believed to be an experienced, and has reportedly climbed this route before.

(MT. HOOD OR) - Mount Hood Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team are currently coordinating a search on Mt. Hood for an overdue climber.

The Sheriff's Office was notified by family members at about 9:00 p.m., Saturday evening of an overdue climber who was supposed to return at 3:00 p.m.

Child Falls Into Crawl Space

I lost my File of generic pic's, so I didn't put one in for this

(OREGON CITY OR) - Clackamas Fire Last night, shortly before 6:00pm a three year old girl fell 5-6 feet into a crawl space of a home at 14832 Meyers Rd in Oregon City. It was reported that the little girl was playing under the stairs, near the crawl space hatch with her brother at the time of the fall.

The child's mother was viewing the home with their realtor when the incident occurred.

Sheriff`s Divers Recover Man in Clackamas River

The Clackamas River water temperature was 64 degrees today. The Sheriff's Office wants to remind everyone to wear life jackets and be aware the water is still cold this time of year.

(CLACKAMAS, OR) - Rescue on Clackamas River The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to the call of a swimmer who had gone under the water just below the High Rocks area on the Clackamas River.

He was recovered and transported to the hospital with a pulse. It happened today at 2:28 p.m.

Residents Report Armed Robbery in Happy Valley

The suspects were described as two white males in their 30's.

(HAPPY VALLEY OR) - Police lights On 06-13-13 at about 2:18 am, Clackamas County Deputies assigned to the Happy Valley Police Department received a 911 call from the occupants at 11194 SE Lenore Street, in the city of Happy Valley. The caller reported that a possible armed robbery had occurred, and the two suspects had fled the scene in a vehicle.

The residence was occupied by several adults, one of which was found to have minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.

(Clackamas, Oregon) - robbery investigation graphic On Monday, April 18, 2011, at 1:22 p.m. the West Coast Bank, located at 15820 SE Happy Valley Town Center Drive, in Clackamas County, was robbed by a lone adult male, who approached the on duty bank teller and demanded money. No visible weapon or physical injuries were reported during the robbery event.
