(MOUNT HOOD, Ore.) -
Personnel from the Crag Rats, Corvallis Mountain Rescue and Eugene Mountain Rescue, were able to successfully recover the body of Canadian climber, Robert Dale Wiebe today.
"We appreciate all of the help that we received from search and rescue volunteers", said Chief Deputy Jerry Brown. "Today's mission could not have been completed without their help."
Fire District 6 urges drivers to not test the statistics - don't text while driving.

Texting is to blame for a head-on crash that sent one person to the hospital with traumatic injuries, according to Dawn Johnson with Clark Co. Fire District 6.
Tragic as it is, there were no reported injuries, something to be very thankful for.

It was painful to see images last night of the historic town of Cloverdale, Oregon burning. It was like a scene from another time; fire moved quickly from one building to the next. It didn't even spare the fire station itself.
I know one thing, the fire had to be bad, really bad... because the Nestucca Rural Fire District is the best in the west; a band of volunteers as good as any, maybe better.
Little is known at this point, firefighters are still on scene.

We don't have any details at this point, but a serious fire broke out at a mill in Turner, Oregon, in the 1900 block of 3rd Street SE.
Firefighters responded to the blaze from multiple agencies, battling flames and keeping an eye out for each other.
