The Salem NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) has new officers and the change could represent a brighter future for people here who are faced with challenges due to the color of their skin.
Among those in attendance were four local men with law enforcement backgrounds, who are all Black, with fairly amazing stories of what they perceive as racially charged justice.

Twenty-six European grandees have urged the EU to adopt a tougher stance towards Israel including taking "concrete measures" and exacting "consequences" over continued settlement building on occupied land; illegal under international law.
The former EU leaders say the EU and other international bodies should put forward a "concrete and comprehensive proposal for the resolution of this conflict".

Demonstrators Protest Local Newspaper Over Racism

Former prison guard's determination for fighting prison racism sees a new front.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
A group of demonstrators in Salem are angry with a local newspaper for ignoring racism, corruption and Civil Rights violations against African Americans; both inmates and guards, in the state prison.
The protest was led by former Corrections Officer William Coleman of Salem, who suffered extreme retaliation over blowing the whistle on racism in Oregon Corrections.

Israel Wouldn`t Stand a Chance Against the UK in Armed Conflict

All I heard when I was in Israel was just how much better their rag tag military was from the rest of the world, and how they have “kicked ass” against joint training with the British SAS and the American Navy Seals, and so on and so on.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
The future will likely see the new British Prime Minister behaving more aggressively towards any ongoing threat.
Also, knowing that Britain will have full backing from other powerful nations with military clout like France and Germany, as well as fair weather friends like Russia, it should not be an impossible task to take on such an egotistic country like Israel... and not walk away being bankrupt after taking such actions.
