Marine With Prostate Cancer in Pain, Called 911 for Help

An El Toro Marine with prostate cancer was left on his own to drive home after telling a cancer center treatment doctor of severe abdominal pains.
(SOMERDALE, NJ) -
Cancer is not something that anyone would volunteer for or for that matter wish on another human being. The cliché ‘avoid like the plague’ comes immediately to mind.
Images of bone thin humans wasting away in a hospice bed flood the mind; unable to eat from the effects of chemotherapy; awaiting death’s call; sedated with drugs to kill the pain; all hope of recovery gone.
