One Killed and Two Injured in Shooting Near South Salem High School

Two in custody after deadly shooting.

(SALEM, Ore.) - shooting There was a shooting today near Salem’s Bush Pasture Park. The park is just a few blocks from South Salem High School.

At about 1:45 p.m., officers were called to the area of High and Leffelle Streets SE on the report of a shooting incident. Upon arrival, officers located three male victims with gunshot wounds.

South Salem Schools in Lockdown LIFTED (UPDATE)

The lockdown lasted about 33 minutes. (update)

Salem City Police say they were looking for a suspect for menacing and possible shots fired in the area.

Social Media Site Threatens Cascade School

(SALEM, Ore.) - Cascade HS Marion County Sheriff's Office has announced that an unknown person has made a threat to Cascade High School "after spring break".

There were no other details from the post and it did not mention any specific names of any involved.
