U.S. Memorial Day Overshadowed by Israel`s Deadly Attacks on Humanitarian Relief Ships

Jordan called Israel's raid a "heinous crime" and Britain's Foreign Secretary, demanded an end to the blockade of Gaza.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Members of Gaza flotilla arrested 30 May 2010 by Israel I have high regard for the military and for veterans but I refuse to kid myself about what is wrong and what is right in the world. Some people see military strength as the answer to resolving international problems, but it goes against every religions teaching in the book.

Israel's attack on unarmed aid ships trying to reach the sick, starving, struggling and tired people of Gaza, will always be remembered as a turning point in the world's history.

What if Iran Had Carried out the Gaza Carnage?

Would my country have been treated the same way as Israel?

(TEHRAN) - Salem-News.com It's not unjustifiable to consider Israel as the absolute incarnation of fraudulence, relentlessness and brutality.

Since its establishment, the Zionist regime has carried out actions which contravene the international regulations and cancel out the human rights in a way or another. Only a brief look into the account of Israel's bloody interaction with the Palestinian people over the past years shows us that this fabricated regime does not deserve "the right of existence", as the U.S. and European officials put it periodically.

Time to Redefine U.S.-Israel Foreign Policy

President Obama recognizes that the U.S. must make real progress on Israeli-Palestinian peace in order to regain credibility in the Middle East.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - Netanyahu and Obama Isn't it time for a long overdue debate of our current Israeli foreign policy? The fallout from Israel’s 2006 war with Lebanon; its 2009 invasion of the Gaza strip; its erecting a wall or fence, which cuts deep into Palestinian territory, joining large Jewish settlement blocks to Israel; and its establishment of new settlements (called outposts), demolishing homes and uprooting plantations in the process.

And now Israel's predawn attack against the international aid convoy Gaza Freedom Flotilla, in which 20 activists on the board were killed and more than 30 wounded.

A Western Perspective on Islam

It is important to make clear here that I am not ascribing anything to Islam, or making any claim whatsoever as to what Muslims believe.
